Bhopal: The prestigious play “Natyotpatti Katha” was grandly staged at Ravindra Bhavan Auditorium by Rangmandal, Natya Shastra Study and Research Center, Bhopal Campus. Written by Prof. Radhavallabh Tripathi and directed by Ms. Sangeeta Gundecha, this play mesmerized the audience with its artistic brilliance.
A key highlight of the play was that all characters were performed by female students. Presented in Sanskrit, the drama captivated the spectators. Especially, Bharatnatyam dancer and actress Tanishka Hatwalne, a recipient of the Madhya Pradesh State Balshree and Ahilya Awards, left the audience spellbound with her graceful dance and expressive gestures.
Impressed by this extraordinary performance, the Vice-Chancellor of the Central Sanskrit University, Prof. Srinivas Varkhedi, announced a prize of ₹1 lakh.
