CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Naval NCC unit at Rabindranath Tagore University organised a drone awareness workshop for NCC cadets in collaboration with Ledo India Business Solutions. A total of 40 NCC cadets took part in the programme.
Lieutenant Manoj Manral, NCC instructor Durga Verma and Vijay Yadav were present at the event. The programme was conducted by Cadet Captain Risham.
During the workshop, cadets were given information about drone technology and its operation. Experts also gave a live demonstration of drone flying. The cadets were briefed on drone safety and its use in various fields.
Authorised drone trainers Ritesh Tiwari and Shubham Kumar Giri conducted the training. Shweta Bhargava, Prajjwal Sarvaikar and Kartik Banjara also provided practical information.
NCC officer Lieutenant Manoj Manral said drone technology is rapidly becoming part of many sectors. He said understanding such technology is useful for cadets as it develops practical skills along with technical understanding.
Vice-Chancellor R.P. Dubey said technical education is the need of the hour. Such training connects young people with new technologies and helps develop skills and an understanding of innovation among students.
Registrar Sangeeta Jauhari said the workshop was a useful initiative for NCC cadets. She said practical training increases students’ confidence and technical understanding.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Vijay Yadav appreciated the workshop. He asked the cadets to understand modern technologies and study their applications.
