CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At Prime Minister College of Excellence, Government Hamidia College, Bhopal, the selection process for first-year NCC cadets was organized, in which a total of 70 students participated. For the selection, Subedar JCO Jitendra Singh and Havaldar Bablu Singh from 4 MP Boys Battalion, Bhopal, specially visited the college. The entire process was conducted under the guidance of Principal Pushpalata Chouksey and in the presence of NCC caretaker Dr. Maya Bakoria.
The selection was carried out in two stages. The first stage was a physical test, which included a 1–6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and height-weight measurements, to evaluate the students’ physical strength and endurance. The second stage was a written examination that assessed general knowledge, current affairs, basic information about NCC, leadership skills, and patriotism.
The students participated in both tests with enthusiasm and discipline. The selected cadets will now have the opportunity to take part in NCC training camps, social service activities, and national programs. The college administration and the NCC unit extended their best wishes for the bright future of all selected students.
