CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The NCC Night event was organized at Panchjanya Auditorium by the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Directorate. The program witnessed the presence of distinguished military and civil officers from Bhopal Military Station, along with army personnel and their families.
On this occasion, Additional Director General of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Directorate, Major General Vikrant M. Ghumane, welcomed everyone and shared a remarkable achievement. He announced that cadets from the Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Directorate secured the fourth position overall at this year’s NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi, breaking an 18-year record. Additionally, two cadets won gold medals and two won silver medals in the All India Best Cadet competition, along with victories in several other group competitions, leading to this outstanding result.
The cadets presented a cultural performance for the audience, followed by an award ceremony, where the chief guest honored cadets with medals and other prizes. Major General Sumit Kabthiyal, GOC, PMP Sub Area, praised the cadets for their exceptional achievements and extended his congratulations. The event concluded with a tea reception.
