CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: UIT RGPV, Bhopal’s NCC and NSS units jointly organized a blood donation camp at the Student Activity Center, Department of Electrical Engineering. During this event, NCC and NSS cadets, along with faculty members, contributed by donating 59 units of blood.
The primary goal of the blood donation camp was to enhance the blood supply and assist patients in need. The camp, conducted in collaboration with HDFC Bank, followed all health and safety protocols under the supervision of expert doctors and the medical team from Hamidia Hospital.
Certificates were distributed to the faculty and students who donated blood as a gesture of appreciation.
On this occasion, Director Sudhir Singh Bhadoriya of UIT RGPV, Bhopal, remarked, “This camp is not only about donating blood but also about raising awareness in society about the importance of blood donation. It is one of the simplest and most effective ways to save lives. I congratulate and commend all the students, staff, and faculty members who participated in this noble cause.”
Registrar Mohan Sen expressed gratitude to all the donors and urged everyone to continue supporting such initiatives. He emphasized the need to consistently work towards making similar events successful in the future.
