CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: NDRF Conducts Disaster Management Workshop at SC/ST Boys’ Hostel, Panchsheel Campus
A disaster management workshop was organized by the NDRF team at the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Boys’ Hostel located in the Panchsheel Campus, Bhopal. The hostel is operated under the supervision of the Assistant Commissioner, Department of Scheduled Caste and Tribal Welfare, Bhopal.
During the workshop, students residing in the hostel and the staff were trained on various aspects of disaster management. The session was chaired by Satyajit Singh, Inspector of the 11th Battalion of NDRF.
The NDRF trainers provided hands-on training on snake bites, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and first aid. Students were not only educated about the CPR process but also practiced it under expert guidance.

To demonstrate preparedness for natural disasters like floods and earthquakes, a mock drill was conducted as part of the workshop.
Counseling Officer Amit Kumar Arjaria addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of staying alert and aware during emergencies and disasters. He explained that the purpose of the workshop was to equip students to respond effectively in any crisis situation.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Hostel Superintendent Manisha Chaudhary, who expressed gratitude to the NDRF team for their valuable contribution.
