ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS : Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Bharti Pravin Pawar is visiting Bhopal on 2 April. Dr. Bharti will be the chief guest of the second convocation ceremony on April 2 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Minister Mr. Vishwas Sarang will be the special guest in the programme.
Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Kumar Gupta President A.B.A. Institute, Bhopal and Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh Executive Director A.B.A. Institute, Bhopal will be present.
A procession will also be taken out on the occasion, in which Deans and Professors of the Institute will participate in formal wear. Honorable Minister will give away degrees to MBBS, MSc Nursing, MD/MS, PDCC, DM/SCH students. Apart from this, gold medals will also be awarded to the toppers of various streams and sessions. A total of 64 gold medals will be awarded, of which 40 are for MBBS and 24 for B.Sc Nursing courses.
On this occasion, Madam, by P.M. Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone will also be performed for the establishment of 150-bed critical care unit under Ayushman Bharat, Health Infrastructure Mission. Apart from this, the facility of Human Milk Bank, ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) machine, 27-bed NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), ART centre, Cardiac Cath Lab facility will also be inaugurated by the Honorable Minister. During this, she will also be aware of the various facilities available in the hospital.
