ITDC INDIA EPRESS/ ITDC NEWS : Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that the ministers of his party are targeted with an aim to reach to him. Ahead of appearing before the CBI summons, Kejriwal said that the central agencies including Enforcement Directorate and CBI are torturing people to testify against me.
“The day I spoke against corruption in Delhi Assembly, I knew I would be next...CBI, ED filed false affidavits in excise policy case in court; they're torturing people to testify against Manish Sisodia and me,” said Kejriwal, while addressing a press conference.
Kejriwal also added that in 75 years, no party has been targeted like AAP. “We have given hope to people about good education. They want to end that hope,” he added.
On the excise policy case, Kejriwal said that ED, CBI alleged Rs 100 crore bribe taken, more than 400 raids conducted but that money was not found.
“Delhi excise policy was excellent, would have ended corruption,” said Kejriwal.
He also added that he will appear before the CBI. “If Kejriwal is a thief, then no one is corruption free,” said Kejriwal.
He also said that CBI and ED had claimed that Manish Sisodia had destroyed 14 phones but the "reality is different".
"Out of these, four phones are with the ED and one is with the CBI. Most of the other phones are active and being used by volunteers. The CBI and the ED know this. They are filing false affidavits in court," he said.
While taking to Twitter, Kejriwal said that “We will file appropriate cases against CBI and ED officials for perjury and producing false evidence in courts.”
Meanwhile, BJP launched an attack against Delhi CM saying that he was the kingpin of the liquor scam.
