Transport of Eicher tractor from Mandideep increased railway revenue of the division.

ITDC INDIA E PRESS /ITDC NEWS :  Under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, the officials of the Business Development Unit (BDU) of the division have contacted the traders to attract them to promote maximum freight loading through railways. Continuous efforts are being made.

As a result of the efforts being made by the division, Eicher tractors are being continuously transported from Mandideep to various destinations. Due to which the railway revenue is also increasing.

In the first month (April) of the current financial year 2023-24, a total of 1111 Eicher tractors were transported in 198 AMG coaches with 08 rakes from Mandideep station of the circle. Due to which the division got railway revenue of Rs.52,03,748/-.

It is to be known that in the last financial year 2022-23 (from April 2022 to March 2023), the Mandideep station of the division will be served by Benapole (Bangladesh), Danapur, Sonic (Lucknow), Redipallam, Korkupeth, Ballabhgarh, Inland Container Depot, Raipur, Cherlapalli, A total of 14126 Eicher tractors were transported in 98 rakes (2018 AMG coaches) to Navalur, Bangaon.

Due to which a record increase of Rs.6,13,06,520/- has been recorded in the revenue of the Board. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rashmi Baghel said that under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager, the Business Development Group of Bhopal Division is working in coordination with each other and is constantly trying to promote goods traffic through railways.
