CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress / Bhopal: Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication Vice Chancellor K.G. Suresh heartily congratulated the Indian Institute of Mass Communication on getting the status of Deemed University and hoped that the new University would benefit from the experience of more than three decades of Makhanlal.
Prof. Suresh has been the Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication from 2016-2019 and during his tenure, he applied for this special status in 2017 and in November 2018, the institution received the Letter of Intent, resulting in the status of Deemed to be University on 31st January.
"It's a very pleasant experience. So far, through diploma courses, the institution was preparing media personnel and now it will also prepare skilled human resources for research and teaching through undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses. We have implemented the National Education Policy in Makhanlal and we are ready to help the institute in this direction in whatever way possible. , said Vice Chancellor Prof. Suresh.
He said that the universities are striving towards academic upgradation including NAAC and are committed to fulfill the Prime Minister's dream of National Communication University.
"Being Asia's first and the country's largest university, we are fully capable of fulfilling the Prime Minister's dream," said Prof. Suresh.
On this occasion, senior faculty and officials of Makhanlal University congratulated the Vice Chancellor on his achievement and hoped that under his leadership, the Vice Chancellor will succeed. Used with words derived from verbs to express opposition. It will set new records.
