MP High Court stay on diamond mine in Bakswaha forest.

ITDC News Bhopal/Bhopal Desk: The MP High Court has banned the diamond mine in Buxwaha forest of Bundelkhand. The High Court made this order during the hearing of a public interest litigation in the matter of saving the Buxwaha forest.

Local people had been agitating for several months to save the Buxwaha forest.

Veerji, Environmentalist, Eco system Researcher from Harit Veer Vahini, Project EERC, India, told that this is only a mere step in this long battle, the journey is long. We are happy but not satisfied.
