CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The second convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Design, Madhya Pradesh will be held in the main auditorium of NID MP.
This year’s convocation is especially significant, as two graduate batches — 2020–2024 and 2021–2025 — will receive their degree certificates, marking an important milestone in their academic and creative journey.
Dr. Tessy Thomas, former Director General (Aeronautical Systems), DRDO, and former Project Director of the Agni–IV Ballistic Missile, will grace the event as the Chief Guest. With her remarkable contributions to India’s strategic defence and aerospace innovations, her presence will inspire the graduating designers toward excellence, innovation, and nation-building.
Anthony Lopez, Founder & CEO of Lopez Design Studio, and Shivaramakrishnan Ganapathi, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Gokaldas Exports Limited, will attend the convocation as Special Guests.
The event will bring together students, parents, faculty members, staff, distinguished guests, and members of the design and academic community to celebrate creativity, dedication, and the spirit of design education.
The ceremony will include the conferment of degrees, an address by the Chief Guest, and messages from the institute’s leadership.
