CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal organized a Hindi workshop on the critical points of quarterly reports. The workshop aimed to facilitate in-depth discussions and address queries at the office level. The speaker for this workshop was Ms. Samata, Junior Translation Officer, working in the office.

The speaker provided detailed insights on the following key aspects of the quarterly report format:

Issuance of bilingual documents under Section 3(3) of the Official Languages Act, 1963.

Conducting correspondence entirely in Hindi/bilingual format.

Responding to letters received in Hindi in Hindi/bilingual format under Rule 5 of the Official Language Rules, 1976.

Ensuring replies to English letters from ‘A’ and ‘B’ regions are provided in Hindi/bilingual format.

A chart presentation illustrating the regional classification of official language zones (‘A,’ ‘B,’ and ‘C’).

The participants were also informed that lists of English letters received from ‘A’ and ‘B’ regions are sent to the headquarters, ministry, or parliamentary committee. Therefore, to avoid inconvenience, correspondence should be done in Hindi/bilingual format only.

Discussions on all aspects of the quarterly report were conducted to enhance the implementation of the official language rules within the office and ensure that work performed is reflected appropriately in the relevant columns of the quarterly progress report.

The workshop concluded under the chairmanship of Lt. Col. Ashish Agrawal, Director of NIFT Bhopal, in the presence of officials, faculty members, and employees of NIFT Bhopal.
