CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Bhopal welcomed its Director General, Mrs. Tanu Kashyap, IAS, on the occasion of its 13th convocation. This was her first visit to the institute. She was accompanied by NIFT’s Academic Head, Professor Shinju Mahajan.
During the visit, the esteemed guest inaugurated the Sewing Machine Model (Selfie Point), now a key attraction on campus and a symbol of NIFT’s creativity and design innovation in the fashion industry. She inspected the campus, toured various departmental laboratories, and interacted with faculty and students. She appreciated the efforts being made to promote creativity and professional outlook among students.
NIFT Bhopal is organizing its 13th convocation at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Center. On this occasion, a total of 91 students from the 2025 batch will be awarded degrees, including graduates in Textile Design, Fashion and Lifestyle Accessory Design, and Masters of Fashion Management.
