CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A significant national survey program on Research, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (RIE) in state public universities was successfully conducted at Barkatullah University, Bhopal. This survey was carried out by representatives of NITI Aayog in collaboration with FIT, IIT Delhi, and Barkatullah University was included among 108 selected state public universities across the country.
The event was graced by the honorable presence of Vice-Chancellor Suresh Kumar Jain of Barkatullah University. In his address, he emphasized the need to strengthen research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in universities and highlighted the importance of such national studies in shaping the future direction of higher education.
Representatives from NITI Aayog elaborated on the objectives of the survey and presented a framework for strengthening the RIE ecosystem in state public universities.
The program witnessed active participation from executive council members, members of the investor ecosystem, government officials, alumni, mentors, faculty members, and students, who shared their valuable suggestions. The enthusiastic involvement of all participants contributed to the great success of the program.
For the smooth and successful conduct of the program, various committees were formed, and their coordinated efforts ensured a well-organized event. All university faculty, participating students, and staff were present during the program.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Ragini Gothalwal, whose skillful guidance and coordination ensured the successful completion of the survey. The university administration expressed gratitude to all guests and participants. This program proved to be an important initiative in providing new direction and momentum to research, innovation, and entrepreneurship at Barkatullah University.
