CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: At NITTTR Bhopal, a training program on “Indian Knowledge Tradition” was organized as part of a series of ongoing programs for professors appointed in government colleges under the Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh. The main speakers of the lecture were Avnish Bhatnagar, Lalit Bihari Goswami, and Uttam Dwivedi.

During the session, Avnish Bhatnagar elaborated on the concept of Indian educational philosophy, explaining that education is not merely about imparting information but a process of holistic personality development. He also shared the “core mantras of teaching”, emphasizing that a teacher’s role is not only to instruct but also to be a transmitter of life values.

Prof. Lalit Bihari Goswami highlighted that what is fundamental is also invaluable. He noted that India has always valued curiosity and experiential knowledge. Knowledge may give rise to ego, but true learning cultivates humility. He advised teachers to approach classrooms with curiosity, not doubts.

Prof. Uttam Dwivedi stressed that proper conduct is what keeps society organized. Education is not just about professional skills but also about building character and values. He urged that it is time to nurture the roots of our golden past with Indian life values and pledge to make India a global leader once again.

C.C. Tripathi, Director of NITTTR Bhopal, stated that it is our collective responsibility to make value-based, holistic education scientifically accurate and contemporarily relevant with an Indian perspective. Prof. P.K. Purohit, Dean of Science and Head of IKS, remarked that this initiative not only seeks to restore India’s rich heritage but also sends a strong cultural message to awaken national pride.

The program was conducted by Sanjay Tripathi.
