CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Lok Sabha session is set to witness intense political debate as opposition parties prepare to raise a no-confidence motion against Speaker Om Birla when Parliament resumes proceedings. The move is expected to dominate the agenda of the lower house, triggering sharp exchanges between the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and opposition members. Opposition leaders have alleged bias in the functioning of the Speaker and claim that their voices were not adequately heard during previous sessions.

The government, however, has dismissed the allegations, stating that parliamentary rules and traditions have been followed strictly. Senior leaders from the ruling coalition have also questioned the political motives behind the opposition’s decision to bring the motion at this stage of the parliamentary calendar.

Apart from the no-confidence issue, several other critical matters are likely to be discussed in Parliament. These include developments in West Asia and their potential impact on India’s diplomatic and economic interests. Lawmakers are also expected to debate the implications of recent agreements involving the United States, particularly those related to trade, security cooperation, and strategic partnerships.

With multiple high-profile issues on the table, the resuming Lok Sabha session is expected to be politically charged and closely watched across the country.
