CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda laid the foundation stone for three roads worth ₹33.39 crore at a program held in the Government Higher Secondary School campus, Village Dhamnar, in the Malhargarh Assembly constituency of Mandsaur district. He stated that there will be no discrimination in development works in the region.

Deputy Chief Minister Devda performed the foundation-laying for the following roads:

Tankeda to Rawti via Jhakedha approach road at a cost of ₹2.9984 crore,

Nipania Barwan to Kuchdaud road at a cost of ₹2.7458 crore, and

Dhamnar to Chajukheda via Babrecha, Daloda, Ladusa, Chayan, Rasoolpur road at a cost of ₹27.65 crore.

In his address, Deputy Chief Minister Devda said that in a democracy, the public gives the government the opportunity to serve. The government is continuously working on development initiatives. He emphasized that in a democracy, the blessings of the people are the greatest force driving progress, and development works are moving forward continuously. He noted that the entire country is advancing in the direction of development. A large number of roads have been constructed in the state, and schemes have been implemented to bring water from rivers to the fields. The river linking projects will also help in controlling natural disasters.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that road construction has facilitated smooth transportation, boosting trade and business. The establishment of medical colleges will ensure the availability of doctors in hospitals, enabling timely and better healthcare for people. He urged villagers to focus on cleanliness in their villages and to spread awareness about government schemes to every household. He also instructed road construction agencies to ensure high-quality construction so that these roads serve the people efficiently for a long time.

On this occasion, District Panchayat President Durga Vijay Patidar, Janpad Panchayat President Basant Sharma, other public representatives, and a large number of villagers were present.
