In view of the Dhanteras and Diwali festivals, traffic arrangements have been changed in Noida. To manage the expected increase in crowds in markets and major commercial areas, the traffic police have prepared to implement route diversions for four days. The arrangement will remain in effect from November 5 to 8.
During festive shopping, large numbers of people are expected to reach the markets. To avoid traffic jams and keep movement smooth for the general public, vehicular movement will be changed on some key routes. In designated areas, vehicles will be sent through alternative routes as required.
The traffic police have appealed to motorists to obtain information about route diversions before leaving home and to use the designated alternative routes. They have also advised people to avoid parking vehicles unnecessarily around markets.
Police personnel will be deployed to maintain traffic arrangements during the festivals. People have been asked to follow traffic rules and cooperate with police instructions.
