CNN Central News & Network – ITDC India Express / ITDC News Bhopal: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit affiliated with Barkatullah University successfully conducted the B and C certificate examinations at Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bhopal. The exam was organized under the able leadership and guidance of the college principal, Dalima Parwani. The examination took place on the college campus, with Dr. Hemlata Verma, Program Officer from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College, Bhopal, serving as the chief examiner.
Second- and third-year volunteers participated in the exam with enthusiasm and discipline. The examination included oral and practical assessments, during which Dr. Verma interacted with the volunteers and evaluated their knowledge of NSS values, community service efforts, and leadership skills. On this occasion, Dr. Verma encouraged the students to adopt NSS as a lifestyle. She explained that NSS not only aids in nation-building but also plays an important role in youth personality development.
She motivated the students to serve society with dedication and to bring honor to the institution and university through effective community participation. The success of this event was due to the special contribution of NSS program officers, faculty members, and college staff. This program was another commendable step taken by the college toward the overall development of the students.
