CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Service Scheme unit of Rabindranath Tagore University, in accordance with the directives of the State Election Commission, Madhya Pradesh, the Regional Directorate of National Service Scheme, Government of India, and the National Service Scheme Cell, Barkatullah University, organized a three-day voter awareness and cleanliness campaign.
Under this initiative, volunteers carried out cleanliness activities at the Avadh Puri Shanti Bhavan premises, spreading the message of cleanliness to the local residents. Alongside, a significant presence of officials and dignitaries including the Chief Coordinator of Youth for Service, Mr. Atar Sahu, and leaders like Avinash Kumar, Rishika Raghuvanshi, Shivendra Rajput, Cleanliness Ambassador Aparna Patel, Abhay Shankar, and Adarsh Kumar led the youth present in Avadh Puri’s Vidyasagar Chowk and New Ford Colony to pledge to vote.
During this event, a voter awareness and cleanliness rally was also organized. Additionally, the campaign featured an Open Quiz competition held on the university premises on the second day, where students were asked questions related to the Lok Sabha general elections and the voting process. Those who answered most questions correctly were awarded RNTU NSS magazine as prizes.
On the final day of the campaign, a poster-making competition was conducted to promote the sense of duty towards voting among students. The program was conducted under the guidance of the university’s Chancellor, Dr. Rajni Kant, and Secretary, Vijay Singh, along with Program Officer Mr. Gabbar Singh and Dr. Rekha Gupta. State Campus Campaigner Sonia Meena and core team members Sachin Kumar, Avani Raghuvanshi, Roshan Kumar, Jyoti Kumari, and others played a major role in the program.
