CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An orientation program for the National Service Scheme (NSS) was organized at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication. The event’s chief guest was Anant Kumar Saxena, and the keynote speaker was Rahul Singh Parihar. The program was presided over by the university’s registrar, Avinash Vajpayee.

Keynote speaker Rahul Singh Parihar highlighted the objectives and goals of NSS, emphasizing the importance of social service. He encouraged students to bring about positive change in society through NSS initiatives.

During the event, senior NSS volunteers welcomed guests with traditional tilak and badges. NSS goals were celebrated with a special theme song and creative presentations prepared by the volunteers. At the conclusion, the guests were honored with floral bouquets and mementos. Additionally, Keshav Kushwaha and Anushka Pandey were awarded the Volunteer of the Month title for their outstanding contributions to NSS activities.

The program ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Program Officer Manisha Verma. Senior NSS volunteers Supriya Pandey, Naman Atolia, Shreyansh Kumar, Prateet Chandak, Atul Verma, Mansi Sharma, Keshav, Tavishi, Anushka, and other university students were present at the event.
