CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Service Scheme unit of Sant Hirdaram Girls College, Bairagarh, organised its second orientation programme for new women volunteers.
At the programme, experienced NSS volunteers shared their experiences and encouraged the students to take an active part in NSS and prepare for selection for the Republic Day Parade (RDC).
Amit Sharma, a member of the RD Camp and Barkatullah University core team who has also played a role in the selection team for four states, gave the students detailed information on the RDC selection process, training and the various stages of preparation.
Aditya Gaur and Rimi Sharma, who participated in the 2026 Republic Day Parade, guided the students on personality development, leadership skills and various opportunities available at the state and national levels through NSS.
Volunteer Aastha Singh delivered an impressive address, while Sadhna Tripathi’s inspiring poem was appreciated by everyone. The programme was conducted by volunteer Priyanshi Dhakad.
On the occasion, special discussions were held on Republic Day Parade preparations, the selection process and various state- and national-level opportunities available through NSS. College principal Dalima Parwani appreciated the programme, congratulated the participants and the organising committee, and extended her best wishes for holding such inspirational and guiding programmes in the future as well.
