CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: As per the directions of the National Service Scheme, Barkatullah University, Bhopal, volunteers of the National Service Scheme unit of Sant Hirdaram Girls College actively participated in a large blood donation camp organised at Lok Bhavan, Bhopal.
The blood donation camp was organised to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the programme, the NSS volunteers not only donated blood and conveyed the message of service to humanity, but also provided voluntary services for the smooth conduct of the camp. They made an important contribution by guiding visitors, assisting with registration and helping with arrangements.
The enthusiasm, discipline and spirit of service shown by the volunteers were appreciated by all guests and officials present.
On the occasion, Rahul Parihar, programme officer of the National Service Scheme, Barkatullah University, congratulated the entire NSS team of Sant Hirdaram Girls College for their outstanding contribution and service work. He said blood donation is a great act of donation and such participation by young people becomes a medium for positive change in society.
The college principal, Dalima Parwani, and the NSS programme officers also praised the service work of the volunteers and appreciated their strong sense of social responsibility.
