CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: NSUI Files Complaint Against Exam Controller Sachin Kuchiya for Election Code Violation
The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has filed a complaint with Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Singh of the Election Commission of India against Sachin Kuchiya, Exam Controller of Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur, accusing him of violating the election code of conduct.
The complaint alleges that Dr. Kuchiya misused his position by promoting a particular political party on social media, which is a clear attempt to influence the democratic process.
Serious Allegations During Ongoing Elections
NSUI State Vice President Ravi Parmar emphasized the seriousness of the matter, pointing out that the social media post was made on the same day as the first phase of voting in the Delhi Assembly elections. He stated that a government official supporting a political party during elections is equivalent to interfering in the fair electoral process.
Parmar further stated that this act has not only damaged the reputation of the university but also attempted to influence the electoral environment.
NSUI Demands Strict Action
NSUI has demanded a fair investigation and strict legal action against Sachin Kuchiya to prevent future violations of the election code. The complaint includes screenshots and videos of the alleged social media posts, which have been emailed to the Election Commission.
NSUI has urged the Election Commission to take immediate action and ensure a transparent and fair electoral process.
