CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has expressed serious concern over the rising number of fake nursing homes and clinics in Bhopal district. NSUI State Vice President Ravi Parmar has filed a complaint with the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Bhopal, demanding the formation of a special investigation committee.

Ravi Parmar stated that several private nursing homes and clinics in Bhopal are operating without proper registration and trained medical staff. The organization has been receiving continuous complaints that unqualified doctors and nursing staff are being allowed to treat patients, which is a clear violation of medical standards and poses a serious threat to public health in Bhopal.

He further highlighted that earlier, the list of doctors and nursing staff in hospitals was publicly available on an online portal, but it has now been removed, giving hospitals the freedom to engage in malpractice.

Parmar added that if any hospital misconduct, wrong treatment, or illegal charges are reported and found true, NSUI will inspect such hospitals.

NSUI’s Key Demands:

A thorough investigation of all private nursing homes and clinics in Bhopal.

Strict action against illegal and unregistered medical institutions.

An immediate ban on services provided by unrecognized doctors and nursing staff.

Strict enforcement of Nursing Home Act standards to ensure patient safety.

Public disclosure of doctors and nursing staff information on official portals.

Ravi Parmar has urged the administration to take immediate action and form an inquiry committee to initiate strict measures. He warned that if swift action is not taken, NSUI will be forced to launch a large-scale protest in public interest.

NSUI is committed to ensuring quality and safe healthcare services for the citizens of Bhopal. Ravi Parmar has also made his contact number 9669083153 public, urging citizens to report any hospital irregularities immediately, assuring that the organization will always support them.
