CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The Foundation Day of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) will be celebrated with great enthusiasm on April 9, 2025, as every year, by all district units across the state. The NSUI Foundation Day will also be celebrated at the State Congress Headquarters on the same day at 11:00 AM.

NSUI State President Ashutosh Chouksey informed that instructions have been given to organize the Foundation Day programs at district and block levels. The celebration will begin with the hoisting of the NSUI flag.

President Chouksey further stated that the NSUI was founded on April 9, 1970, by former Prime Minister Late Indira Gandhi with the aim of granting democratic rights to students through a full-fledged political student organization. As part of its formation, a separate constitution and flag were established.

Since its inception, NSUI has consistently fought for the burning issues of students and has remained dedicated to achieving its stated objectives.
