CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: NSUI Celebrates Foundation Day with Enthusiasm Across All District Units and State Congress Headquarters
On the occasion of the Foundation Day of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), celebrations were held today with great zeal and enthusiasm by students across all district units of the state, as well as at the State Congress Headquarters.
The event at the State Congress Headquarters began with a flag hoisting ceremony, marking the start of the Foundation Day celebrations of India’s largest student organization, NSUI. Students paid floral tributes to the statue of Indira Gandhi, installed in the premises, and expressed their joy by distributing sweets.
NSUI State President Ashutosh Chouksey extended congratulations and best wishes to all state and district office bearers and members of NSUI on the auspicious occasion. Speaking on the formation and objectives of the organization, he highlighted that former Prime Minister and world leader Indira Gandhi had founded NSUI on this very day to empower students with democratic and political rights.
President Chouksey urged all NSUI office bearers to dedicate themselves to strengthening the Congress Party and to make efforts to connect new college students with the organization. He emphasized resolving various academic issues faced by students to foster a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm towards joining NSUI, thereby strengthening the organization further.
Moinuddin Siddiqui, Flag In-Charge of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Seva Dal, addressed the students and elaborated on the significance of the national flag, along with recitations of Vande Mataram and the National Anthem.
On this occasion, several prominent state NSUI office bearers and leaders, including Aditya Soni, Abhimanyu, Ravi Tiwari, Hemant Rajak, Syed Attamas, Aman Pathan, Bhopal District President Akshay Tomar, Prateek Yadav, Gagan Singh, Vansh Kanoujiya, Amit Panwar, Yogesh Soni, Prince Joshi, and Nabeel Aslam, along with a large number of students, were present.
