CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has filed a complaint with the Dean of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, demanding immediate action against professors and nursing staff involved in the nursing college fraud in the state.
NSUI State Vice President Ravi Parmar stated that inspection officials played a crucial role in the irregularities related to nursing college accreditation, with several professors and nursing staff from Gandhi Medical College found complicit. They unethically facilitated the accreditation of unsuitable nursing colleges, severely affecting the state’s nursing education system. Multiple officials linked to this scam had been issued notices earlier, but no concrete action has been taken yet.
Parmar further mentioned that Professor Hari Singh Makwana of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, had an FIR registered against him in connection with the nursing fraud, yet his services have not been terminated. NSUI has also lodged a complaint with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council’s registrar, demanding the cancellation of Makwana’s registration.

Former GMC Principal: Rosi Shahul
Professors: Jitendra Mahawar, Hari Singh Makwana, Sandeep Kumar Marskole, Virendra Dhurve
Nursing Staff: Rajni Nair, Priyadarshini Dehriya, Deepika Kumbhare, Rajshree Malviya
NSUI’s Key Demands:
