The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination calendar for major exams scheduled between December 2026 and March 2027. The calendar includes tentative dates for several examinations, including UGC NET, Joint CSIR-UGC NET, JEE Main, NIFT entrance examination, CMAT and CUET PG. NTA has clarified that these dates are tentative and may be changed according to circumstances.
In December 2026, the UGC NET examination is proposed from December 14 to 19, while December 20 and 21 have been kept as buffer dates. The Joint CSIR-UGC NET is proposed to be held on December 20 and 21.
Among the most important examinations in January 2027 is JEE Main Session 1. The examination is proposed on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30, while January 31 is the buffer date. In the same month, the NIFT entrance examination is proposed on January 10 and the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination on January 31.
In February, CMAT is proposed on February 7 and the NITTT Part 1 examination on February 26 and 27. In March, the CUET PG examination will be held from March 1 to 5, on March 8, from March 12 to 20, and on March 24 and 25. March 30 and 31 have been kept as buffer dates. The NITTT Part 2 examination is proposed on March 5 and 7.
NTA has said that detailed information on applications, eligibility, examination centres and other instructions will be issued in separate notifications for the respective examinations. Students have been advised to keep checking official notices for the final dates.
