The actress is currently under doctors’ observation at a hospital in Bali. Her team shared an update on her condition in a statement issued on Friday.
Nushrratt Bharuccha had travelled to Bali for a work-related event and a holiday. After the accident, she was admitted to hospital, where doctors are assessing her condition. Following further medical examinations, a decision has been taken to conduct surgery on her spine. Preparations are being made to bring the actress from Bali to Mumbai for treatment. An air ambulance is being arranged for this purpose.
According to her team, Nushrratt’s health and ensuring that she receives the necessary medical care are the current priorities. After surgery, she will need time for rest and recovery, due to which some work commitments in the coming weeks may be affected.
