AIIMS Bhopal, under the leadership of its Executive Director Dr. Ajay Singh, is not only playing a pioneering role in the field of medical excellence, but is also setting a remarkable example in the effective fulfillment of social inclusion and constitutional responsibilities.

As part of this commitment, the Hon’ble Chairman of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) and Minister of State-level Dignitary, Shri Hansraj Gangaram Ahir, conducted an official visit to AIIMS Bhopal.

He was accompanied by Commission Member Shri Bhuvan Bhushan Kamal and Secretary Ms. Meeta Rajeevlochan.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Chairman held a detailed meeting with Director Ajay Singh and senior officials of the institute to thoroughly review the recruitment process, admission statistics, and compliance with the OBC reservation policy.

On this occasion, the Director presented the Commission with detailed data related to recruitment and admissions for the years 2024 and 2025, including the reservation roster register.

Following the inspection, Shri Ahir expressed satisfaction over the fact that all posts reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) at AIIMS Bhopal have been duly filled in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

He commended the institute’s transparency and adherence to constitutional and legal provisions, stating that AIIMS Bhopal has demonstrated sincere integrity and commitment in safeguarding the rights of the OBC community.

On this occasion, Executive Director Dr. Ajay Singh stated:

“Our institute is committed not only to delivering excellent healthcare services, but also to upholding the constitutional values of social justice with utmost sincerity. This visit is a positive recognition for us, reaffirming that AIIMS Bhopal is firmly rooted in the principles of inclusivity, transparency, and equality in the distribution of opportunities.”

The NCBC delegation also appreciated the ongoing efforts of the institute in promoting the interests of the OBC category, emphasizing that AIIMS Bhopal is fully committed to offering equal opportunities in education and employment to deserving candidates.
