CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The son of Odisha Governor Raghubar Das allegedly assaulted a state government employee, who has been on deputation at Raj Bhavan.
According to a Hindustan Times report, the incident happened during the visit of President Droupadi Murmu to the state last week.
According to the complaint filed by Baikunthanath Pradhan to the secretary to governor Saswat Mishra, Lalit Das, and five others attacked him on the night of July 7.
According to the complaint, security personnel were witnesses to the incident.
Pradhan said he was slapped, punched and kicked by the accused.
According to news agency PTI, the wife the Raj Bhavan employee claimed that her husband was beaten up because he did not send a luxury vehicle to pick up the governor’s son.
She demanded legal action on the alleged attack on her husband.
However, there is no confirmation from Raj Bhavan or the police regarding the incident.
However, an aide of the governor claimed that the entire complaint was a conspiracy, and there have been complaints regarding the employee in the past. According to the aide, the matter is between the cook of Raj Bhavan and the employee and the governor’s son has nothing to do with the incident.
