CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A 28-member delegation from Odisha visited modern infrastructure and development projects in the state capital Bhopal under the inter-state Social Media Influencer Exchange Programme organised as part of the Seva Se Sankalp Abhiyan. The delegation was briefed on facilities and work being undertaken in the fields of transport infrastructure, quality school education, Ayurveda healthcare and environmental protection. The objective of the programme is to acquaint representatives from other states with Madhya Pradesh’s development works, cultural richness and natural heritage.
During the visit, the delegation inspected Raja Bhoj Setu and learnt about its cable-stayed technology and structural features. The members then travelled along Raja Bhoj Marg and viewed the natural beauty of Bhojtal. During this part of the tour, the delegation had the opportunity to see the capital’s modern infrastructure as well as its lakes and natural surroundings.
The delegation visited Kamla Nehru Sandipani Vidyalaya at T.T. Nagar and received information about its modern laboratories, smart classrooms and other educational facilities. The school, which has been awarded at the state level for its infrastructure and diverse co-curricular activities, was presented by principal Sangeeta Saxena, who informed the members about reforms being carried out by the Madhya Pradesh government in the field of school education and the special features of Sandipani schools.
The delegation then visited Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Autonomous Ayurveda College and Hospital. Principal Umesh Shukla gave a presentation on the institute’s academic and medical activities. The delegation inspected the Panchakarma centre and learnt in detail about traditional Ayurvedic treatments, rejuvenation therapy and the health services available at the institute.
The delegation also visited Van Vihar National Park, located on the banks of Bhojtal. The members observed wildlife in a natural setting and saw the capital’s rich natural heritage. The social media influencers from Odisha appreciated Bhopal’s modern infrastructure, educational and medical facilities, cleanliness and environmental protection efforts. Members described the visit as informative and said it gave them an opportunity to understand Madhya Pradesh’s development works and the distinctive features of the capital.
