CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The 88th quarterly review meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee was held at the Coach Rehabilitation Workshop, Nishatpura, Bhopal, with the objective of ensuring effective implementation of the Official Language policy and promoting the use of Hindi in official work. The meeting was chaired by committee chairman and Chief Workshop Manager Prafull V. Kohade. A detailed review was conducted of official language-related work and achievements during the January to March 2026 quarter.
At the start of the meeting, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer Hanuman Prasad Meena welcomed the chairman by presenting him with a sapling. Thereafter, Liaison Official Language Officer and Assistant Personnel Officer M.L. Meena delivered the welcome address and presented a detailed report on official language-related work carried out during the quarter.
In his presidential address, Prafull V. Kohade said the work of using and promoting the official language Hindi in the workshop was being carried out with full sincerity and dedication, which was a matter of great satisfaction. He called upon officers and employees to ensure 100 percent achievement of the targets set under the annual programme issued by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

He said the Coach Rehabilitation Workshop is located in Area “A” under the Official Languages Rules, 1976, and therefore the office has an even greater responsibility to conduct maximum day-to-day official work in Hindi. He directed all officers and employees to ensure strict compliance with the constitutional and statutory provisions related to the official language.
Kohade said in his address, “The implementation of official language Hindi and its effective use and promotion is not only the responsibility of the Official Language Department, but the collective responsibility of every officer and employee. Along with production, it is the duty of all of us to ensure full compliance with the Official Language policy of the Government of India.”
Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer Sohan Singh Parmar, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer Hanuman Prasad Meena, Deputy Chief Materials Manager Manoj Kumar Singh, along with all officers of the workshop and a large number of in-charges of various shops and sections, were present at the meeting. The programme was conducted and the vote of thanks was proposed by Rakesh Kumar Malviya, Senior Translator.
