CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A quarterly review meeting of the Official Language Implementation Committee for the period ending December 2025 was held at the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Bhopal office. The meeting was chaired by Rashmi Divakar, Chairperson of RRB.
The meeting began with Anil Kumar Sinha, Divisional Official Language Officer and Chief Official Language Officer, providing all members, including the committee chairperson, with formal details of the meeting. Subsequently, the Vice-Chairperson and Secretary of RRB Bhopal, Neeraj Kumar Rajput, welcomed Chairperson Divakar by presenting her with a plant.
In her address, Rashmi Divakar emphasized that as employees of the central government, it is the constitutional duty of all of us to adopt Hindi not only as a language but also as a powerful medium of expression. She stated that Hindi is a thread that can weave India’s diversity into the fabric of unity.
Highlighting the Official Language Rules, 1976, she stressed the increased use of Hindi in official work. She urged all officers and employees to incorporate Hindi into their daily official tasks, so that all information related to the recruitment process can reach the public in their language, and the office functions with greater simplicity and transparency.
During the meeting, various points related to the committee were discussed, and officers and employees were urged to resolve to use Hindi extensively in their daily office work and actively contribute to the development, promotion, and propagation of Hindi.
Following the meeting, a Hindi workshop on the topic “Official Language Policy and Constitutional Provisions” was conducted, in which 10 officers and employees participated enthusiastically. The workshop was conducted and the vote of thanks was delivered by Senior Translator Rakesh Kumar Malviya.
