She also responded to those questioning the marriage.
Hina Khan shared a picture of Omar Abdullah and Nidhi Razdan on her Instagram Story and wrote that she is extremely happy for both of them. Praising Omar’s decision, she said he chose to stand by his love and life partner without caring about political gains or losses. According to Hina, giving importance to one’s relationship and partner in life is more important than any post or political future.
Some people on social media also raised questions about the marriage because of their different religious backgrounds. Responding to those interfering in others’ personal lives in the name of religion, Hina said people should adopt the idea of live and let live. In her post, she wrote, “Leave the decision about their destiny to the one above. You are not God.” Notably, Omar Abdullah’s first marriage was to Payal Abdullah, which the Supreme Court ended in July 2026 on the basis of mutual consent. After this, Omar and Nidhi announced the beginning of their new life.
