CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A successful one-day internal hackathon was organized at Rabindranath Tagore University. On this occasion, the University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, inaugurated the hackathon. The closing ceremony was attended by Ronald Fernandes, CEO of AIC-RNTU, and Rakesh Kumar, the coordinator of the hackathon. Teams securing first, second, and third positions were awarded certificates in recognition of their achievements.

This internal hackathon serves as an important pre-selection event, aimed at identifying the most innovative and capable teams within the university, so they can represent the institution at the national-level Smart India Hackathon 2025 (SIH-25).

This national initiative, organized by the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education, provides students with a platform to solve critical problems posed by the government, ministries, departments, industries, and other organizations.

For the evaluation of the hackathon, jury members from academia, industry, and the startup community were invited. These included Prof. Kirti Jain from Sage University Bhopal, Technical Project Manager Praveen Verma from FlairsSoft Consulting Group Bhopal, and Vivek Pandey, Founder & CEO of Bright Hustle Private Limited, who served as judges for the event.
