CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The one-day international conference was organized at the LNCT Campus in Bhopal. The event was held in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology (MPCST), with the primary aim of exploring the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the field of pharmacy and presenting their practical applications.
The chief guest of the conference was Prof. Anil Kothari, Director General of MPCST, Bhopal. He emphasized that technological advancement is paving a new path for pharmaceutical education and research, and encouraged students and researchers to innovate in this emerging domain. The special guest, Mr. Sanjay Jain, President of the Madhya Pradesh State Pharmacy Council, highlighted the need for technological integration in the pharmaceutical sector during his address.

Dr. Ashok Kumar Sharma, a bioinformatics scientist from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, USA, shed light on the role of AI in drug research across the USA and globally.
Dr. Sushil Kumar Kashav, Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Harisingh Gour Central University, Sagar (M.P.), discussed the potential of machine learning in pharmaceutical development.
Dr. Kuldeep Ganju, Principal and Professor at Sagar Institute of Pharmacy and Technology, Bhopal, delivered a talk on digital innovation and the integration of AI in the education system.
Chief Patron J. N. Chouksey and Patron Anupam Chouksey, Secretary, extended heartfelt congratulations on the successful execution of the international conference. The event was recognized as a well-organized and impactful gathering, bringing together distinguished representatives, researchers, and professionals from around the world.
Conference convener Parul Mehta and Dr. Ashok Kumar Rai, Director of Administration at LNCT Group, encouraged students to participate in such academic initiatives. Students and young researchers contributed with poster and oral presentations on AI/ML applications in pharmaceutical sciences.
