One-Year PG Courses to Begin for the First Time at MCU

CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Makhanlal Chaturvedi University Launches One-Year Postgraduate Courses Under NEP

Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University is launching one-year postgraduate programs in six disciplines for the first time under the National Education Policy (NEP). Applications are now open for MA programs in Mass Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism and Creative Writing; MSc programs in Multimedia and Electronic Media; as well as for the MCA course.

Students who have completed a four-year undergraduate program under NEP are eligible to apply for these courses.

At the undergraduate level, admissions are open for BSc in Electronic Media, Multimedia, Graphics & Animation, Film & Communication Studies, and Media Research; B.Tech in Printing and Packaging; BA in Advertising & Public Relations, Journalism & Creative Writing, English Journalism, Hindi Language Technology & Translation; BCA; BBA (E-commerce); and B.Com. (Management).

At the postgraduate level, applications are also invited for MSc in New Media and Media Research, MBA in Media Business Management, and MCA. Additionally, students interested in Library and Information Science can apply for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Admissions for the regular courses at the Bhopal campus will be granted on a “first come, first serve” basis (CLC Round) against the available seats. Candidates can apply online through the MPOnline portal until 12:00 midnight on July 30, 2025.
