CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Arpit Mudgal, National President of the Youth Wing of the India-Tibet Cooperation Forum, strongly opposed the recent controversial and unfortunate remarks made by certain political parties and leaders in Maharashtra regarding the Hindi language.
He stated:
“Hindi is not just a language; it is the soul, culture, and constitutional identity of India. Opposing Hindi is equivalent to attacking the unity of the nation.”
Arpit Mudgal condemned the narrative pushed by some leaders that Hindi is being “imposed,” calling it a toxic attempt to divide the country’s linguistic unity.
He added:
“We respect all Indian languages, but insulting Hindi will no longer be tolerated. The Constitution of India recognizes Hindi as the official language — promoting it is not imposition, it is integration.”
Addressing the people of Maharashtra, Mudgal remarked that opposing Hindi from the land of great icons like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a betrayal of their values and of India’s integrity.
He issued a strong warning:
“Those engaging in anti-Hindi politics will be thrown into the dustbin of history by the people. For us nationalists, the unity of India takes precedence over linguistic vote-bank politics.”
In conclusion, Arpit Mudgal called upon the youth to step forward in support of Hindi and to strongly oppose divisive politics that seeks to fracture the nation through language.
