CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: “A program was organized on International Nurses Day at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC). Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Program Coordinator, Nursing Education and Paramedical Program, was the chief guest of the event, while Manisha Srivastava was present as a special guest of the program. Anurag Yadav, Medical Superintendent, and Shiba Rani Kalesh, Nursing Superintendent, were also present at the program. During this event, BMHRC’s nursing staff, who excel in different areas, were also honored.

Dr. Jitendra Shukla congratulated the entire nursing staff of BMHRC for choosing this noble profession. He said that it is impossible to imagine any hospital without nurses. The prestige of any hospital is built on its nursing and paramedical staff. Nurses also serve as teachers for new doctors. When a doctor, after completing MBBS, joins a medical college or hospital as a PG student, it is the nurses who often teach them the intricacies of patient care. I still remember many such nurses from my student life from BMHRC, from whom I learned a lot.

Manisha Srivastava, the Deputy Director of BMHRC, said that the nursing staff of BMHRC has made a significant contribution to the progress of BMHRC. The nursing staff of BMHRC is highly skilled in their work, and such highly trained staff are rarely found in many hospitals. Medical Superintendent Anurag Yadav also congratulated BMHRC’s nursing staff on International Nurses Day and said that nurses act as a bridge between patients and doctors.

Blood Donation Camp: A blood donation camp was organized on International Nurses Day. Many nursing officers of BMHRC donated blood at this camp.”
