CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal : An orientation program was organized at the Bhavabhuti Auditorium to provide detailed information about the Pradhan Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Scheme, which offers education loans to students for higher studies, initiated by the Government of India. The event aimed to educate students about the scheme, with Rajendra Dogne, Branch Manager of State Bank of India, Bagh Mugalia branch, present as the keynote speaker.

The Pradhan Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Scheme is a significant step towards making higher education accessible to students from all sections of the society. Mr. Rajendra Dogne elaborated on the various stages of the scheme and explained how to apply for education loans under this initiative. He emphasized that earlier, many talented students were unable to pursue higher education due to lack of resources. However, with this government initiative, education loans are now easily accessible to students across all socio-economic backgrounds.

Prof. Ramakant Pandey, Director of Central Sanskrit University, Bhopal Campus, presided over the event. The program saw the enthusiastic participation of students, faculty, and university staff.

Under this scheme, the Government of India provides education loans in a simple and accessible manner. To raise awareness, banners were displayed and information about the scheme was disseminated through social media and student groups via posters.
