CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Madhyanchal Professional University, Bhopal, organised an orientation programme to welcome newly admitted students and familiarise them with the university’s academic environment, facilities and activities. Through the programme, students were encouraged to begin their university life with confidence and a positive outlook.
University Chancellor Preeti Patel was present as the chief guest. Rahul Bhargava, founder and managing director of R Dot Ventures, Shekunj.com and OctaHire.com, and Dr. Ajit Singh Patel, Pro-Chancellor of the university, attended as special guests. Executive Directors Isha Patel and Ishan Patel, along with university officials, faculty members and a large number of students, were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the programme, the guests welcomed the newly admitted students and said university life is not limited to acquiring academic knowledge, but is also an important phase for developing students’ skills, personality, leadership ability and future path. Students were encouraged to actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities according to their interests and to make the most of the opportunities available at the university.
The speakers urged students to move forward with self-confidence, discipline, dedication and a positive approach. They also laid special emphasis on developing practical skills in line with changing times and employment requirements, and on continuing to learn throughout their journey.
The university’s orientation programme will continue throughout the week. During this period, students will be given detailed information about various departments, academic processes, student services, campus facilities and other important university arrangements. Students will also get an opportunity to tour the campus, interact with faculty members and get to know their classmates.
Cultural presentations held during the programme created an atmosphere of enthusiasm and cheer on the campus. The university management wished the newly admitted students a bright future and expressed confidence that the orientation programme would prove to be a meaningful and inspiring beginning to their academic life.
