Real estate developer Origen Realty has started construction work on its first residential project, ‘The Oriza’. In the initial phase of the project, located in Sector-88A of Gurugram near the Dwarka Expressway, diaphragm wall construction is being carried out. For this, the company has partnered with Indigo Infra Projects Private Limited, which specialises in civil engineering and geotechnical construction works.
Special focus on foundation and underground construction: A diaphragm wall is an underground structure made of reinforced concrete, used to stabilise soil during deep excavation and support the surrounding ground. In large residential projects with basements, it is an important part of the construction process. Origen Realty Managing Director Varun Sharma said that ground-level work and construction quality are necessary to take the project forward. According to him, awarding the contract for diaphragm wall construction is an important step in the development of ‘The Oriza’.
Project near Dwarka Expressway: In the first phase of ‘The Oriza’, residential development is being carried out over about 4.65 acres. The project is part of a licensed master-planned development spread over a total of 8.26 acres. According to official project details, two residential towers are proposed, with a focus on modern amenities along with homes.
Emphasis on quality and coordination in construction: Indigo Infra Projects Director Ajit Kumar Jha said the company will use its technical experience in this project. Origen Realty Chief Business Officer Ashish Tandon said that taking construction forward in a planned manner and maintaining quality at every stage are the company’s priorities. With the start of construction of ‘The Oriza’, Origen Realty has taken an important step towards advancing its first project in Gurugram’s residential market.
