CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: An awareness workshop on Outcome-Based Education and Accreditation for Engineering Colleges was organized at NITTTR Bhopal. In his welcome address, NITTTR Director C.C. Tripathi emphasized the need to enhance the quality of engineering colleges in the state. He highlighted the contributions of NITTTR Bhopal in the field of accreditation across the country and elaborated on its efforts in curriculum development and other areas.

A.K. Nasa, Member Secretary of the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), outlined the objectives of the workshop and provided details on the new Self-Assessment Report (SAR) format. NBA Chairman Anil Sahasrabudhe discussed the National Education Policy, quality standards, and emphasized that Outcome-Based Education is not based on theoretical knowledge but experiential learning.

Raghuraj Madhav Rajendran, Secretary of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, provided insights into the initiatives being undertaken for skill development and employment. Vice-Chancellor of Odisha Open University, S.S. Patnaik, discussed evaluation and assessment tools, while Prof. Sanjay Agrawal explained the process of preparing Self-Assessment Reports.

Experts at the workshop addressed queries from participants. The program was moderated by Prof. Pallavi Bhatnagar. Over 150 faculty members from engineering colleges across Madhya Pradesh attended the workshop.
