CNN Central News & Network-ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: Job Fair-5, held at LNCT University on Kolar Road in the state capital Bhopal, gave pharmacy students an opportunity to connect with the industry. More than 125 students registered for the event held on July 4, 2026, where various companies provided employment opportunities. The event was organised on the initiative of the university’s School of Pharmacy and School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, with the aim of providing a suitable platform for D.Pharm., B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. students to begin their careers.
Dr Sanjay Jain attended the programme as the chief guest. He is the president of the Madhya Pradesh State Pharmacy Council, a member of the Central Council of PCI, New Delhi, and president of IPA, Madhya Pradesh.
Leadership and coordination of the event
Job Fair-5 was led by Dr A.K. Singhai, Director, School of Pharmacy, and Dean Academics, LNCT University. The programme received guidance from Dr J.P. Rai, Principal, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Coordination responsibilities for the event were handled by Ms Steffi Thomas, Assistant Professor and TPO, and Pradeep Kumar Yadav, Associate Professor.
Institutions that took part in the recruitment process
Several reputed institutions participated in Job Fair-5 and offered employment opportunities to students. These included Biomedica (Indore), Vitamax Healthcare (Indore), Park Benz Laboratories (Mandideep), Troika Pharmaceuticals (Bhopal), SPS Hospital (Neelbad), Scan Lab (Bhopal) and PBRI Lab (Bhopal).
Students get opportunity to start careers
According to the university, Job Fair-5, held with the participation of more than 125 students, provided pharmacy students an opportunity to connect with the employment sector and begin their professional journey. The university said its objective is to link students not only with academic education but also with better career opportunities.
