CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: A nationwide “Mediation for the Nation” special 90-day campaign was conducted from July 1 to September 30, 2025, under the guidance of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee and the National Legal Services Authority. The objective of this initiative was to resolve pending court cases through settlement and mediation, providing the public with speedy and cost-effective justice.

In Madhya Pradesh, the campaign was successfully carried out under the guidance of Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court and Chief Patron of the State Legal Services Authority, Sanjeev Sachdeva, and Executive Chairperson Justice Atul Shridharan. Public awareness programs were organized in High Courts, District Courts, and Tehsil Courts across the state, encouraging lawyers, parties, and citizens to resolve disputes through dialogue.

As a result of the campaign, a total of 4,552 cases were resolved through mediation in Madhya Pradesh. The campaign achieved notable success in Bhopal district under the leadership of Principal District & Sessions Judge Manoj Kumar Srivastava. Over 200 cases were resolved through settlement in the Principal District Court, Family Court, and Tehsil Court Bairasia.

Sunil Agrawal, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, stated that extensive efforts were made to increase public awareness—banners were displayed at public locations, pamphlets were distributed, and a grand bike rally was organized on July 12. This campaign strengthened the spirit of mediation in society and promoted a collaborative approach to the judicial process.
