CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The controversy is escalating after allegations that animal fat was found in the laddus, which are offered as prasad at the Tirupati Venkateswara Swamy Temple. In response, both the TDP and BJP are continuously targeting Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP government over the issue.
Amidst the controversy, AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi also shared his views on the matter. During a press conference held in Mumbai on Wednesday, Owaisi stated, “If animal fat has been found in the prasad from the Tirupati temple, it is very wrong. We also believe it is wrong, and it should not have happened.”
Additionally, Owaisi criticized the BJP regarding the Waqf Board Bill. He accused the central government of trying to seize Muslim Waqf properties. “Waqf property is private property, and the BJP is falsely propagating that the Waqf Board has 10 lakh acres of land,” he remarked.
Owaisi further accused the BJP and RSS of spreading false propaganda against the Waqf Board and not taking any concrete steps to protect, develop, or enhance the efficiency of Waqf properties. He claimed that the bill was introduced with the intent of dismantling the Waqf Board.
