CNN Central News & Network–ITDC India Epress/ITDC News Bhopal: The West Central Railway’s Bhopal Division has received a new Divisional Railway Manager (DRM). Senior officer Shri Pankaj Tyagi has formally taken charge of this important position. He succeeds Devashish Tripathi in the role.
Mr. Tyagi is a 1997 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). Before assuming this responsibility, he served as Executive Director (Land & Licensing) at the Railway Board, New Delhi. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated both administrative and technical expertise in various railway projects.
His major achievements include simplifying the Railway Land Policy, successfully leading the Delhi–Meerut RRTS project, and establishing the Railway Safety Fund. He has enriched his professional skills through international training in Singapore, Malaysia, Norway, and the UK.
His appointment has generated enthusiasm among railway staff and officers in the Bhopal Division. There is widespread optimism that under Mr. Tyagi’s leadership, the division will witness a new direction, technological innovations, and administrative reforms.
